4 out of 5 jobs are created by small business owners. They are therefore the backbone and foundation of a thriving economy. Since our inception in 2015, we at Qred have helped tens of thousands of business owners grow their businesses through the right type of financing.
We believe that entrepreneurship and small business owners deserve more attention and research.
Therefore, we are now creating the Qred Scholarship . The scholarship will be awarded for a thesis that deals with and investigates entrepreneurship and/or small business owners.
The Qred Scholarship is awarded for a paper written to illuminate and highlight issues related to entrepreneurship and small business operations. The scholarship is intended to promote knowledge and innovation within the entrepreneurial industries in which Qred operates.
The scholarship is awarded to individuals who pose a research question that stands out from the crowd, intends to shed light on issues that have not yet been researched, and has chosen an interesting approach.

Motivation:
This year's grant from Qred is awarded to a paper that touches on a topic that we at Qred take seriously, namely burnout. It is common for entrepreneurs to take on a high workload, and the risk of burnout is particularly high among this group of people. The paper maps the most effective coping mechanisms for burnout and how these can be avoided without affecting the progress of new innovation. The paper presents qualitative interviews with both successful entrepreneurs and people with burnout syndrome. We see this as an educational assignment that is significant for the well-being of entrepreneurs in the industry. We are therefore proud to award this year's grant to Jesper Larsson and Camilla Hietanen." - Qred's jury
Motivation:
"This year's grant from Qred is awarded to a paper that touches on a highly relevant topic within a very significant industry. With her sharp challenge of the construction industry's climate impact, she raises a research question that ignites our passion for the subject even more. Like Qred, the thesis author understands the importance of the environment and doesn't settle for the status quo. She questions, challenges and concretizes the ways in which reuse and recycling are unsustainable. These are exactly the kinds of questions that the scholarship was established to answer. With this enthusiasm and her important questions, we proudly award this year's scholarship to Johanna Lagerlund."
